Team Australia: News

The team went over to Orlando Florida and competed in the U.S Open World Martial Arts Championships.

This was challenging road and an experience that will not be forgotten.

1: FULLTIME DOJO – YEAH!!!!!


We are in the process of signing a contract for a fulltime Dojo
on the Horsley Drive, Wetherill Park… 
YEAH!!!  All classes will be moved to the fulltime dojo,
except for the kids class of a Thursday at Bonnyrigg.
The fulltime dojo will be set up with mats (I can hear the cheers now),
bags on the wall, etc…
I know many of you have been awaiting this great step for Tora and it is
finally happening!  More details will be provided when we know we have secured a place.

2: Gradings.......

The next Tora gradings are to be held in September. 
Dates are to be advised as we are hoping to hold the gradings in the
new fulltime dojo.  The tentative dates are cubs and ninja’s on the 17th
of September and adults the 21st of September.

3: Iska Tournaments.....


● The next ISKA tournament is on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd August
2009 in Maitland. Payment and completed forms for the Maitland
tournament is due Thursday 13th August 2009 to Sensei Dianne.

● The September ISKA tournament is on Sunday 20th September 2009
in Tamworth. We encourage all Tora students to participate as this is also
a World Martial Arts Alliance Tournament and a great Tora get together,
come along and join our annual event.

forms and details.

so make sure you keep practicing to ensure you achieve your badge.
